Community Crunch 463: Now We’re Ragna-Rockin’! LiveOps, Contest Winners and More!

It’s been a big week, and we’re thrilled to see Ragnarok and the Lost Colony Expansion Pass content in our players’ hands. The team has been loving the positive feedback and watching Survivors dive into the new content and explore the upgraded map.

We'll be keeping a close eye on player reports and addressing feedback and bugs frequently in the coming days. We know the UE 5.5 upgrade still has its kinks, but rest assured the team is working hard to straighten them out, and there's a lot to look forward to this year with an exciting summer just around the corner!

To meet demand for Ragnarok, we plan to release a small amount of new Official Ragnarok servers on:

  • Saturday 06/21 1pm pacific
  • Sunday 06/22 11am pacific

There will be a combination of PvE and PvP game modes, some Small Tribes, along with some temporary “Expires” servers.

These Expires servers will be online until August 11th 2025. We're hosting some additional sessions that players can travel onto to farm, tame, and experience the Ragnarok gameplay. The same transfer restrictions apply in that you are only able to download your character, but you can freely take anything off. This is to help reduce load off some of the other servers, or provide players an option for those who just want to jump onto Ragnarok temporarily.

Please note that these servers will no longer exist after August 11, so if you intend to use them, remember to transfer your items/creatures/characters off before that date as nothing will be saved beyond that time period.

We're currently in contact with Microsoft regarding the issue where Ragnarok cannot be downloaded on the Microsoft or Windows store without switching regions, or in some cases not at all. Microsoft's platform team is investigating the issue and we're hoping to get them some additional data. For those of you not able to download the map, could you please try once more and then leverage the 'Report a Problem'? feature, submitting your diagnostics. That will help their team diagnose the issue, more details can be found here.

Additionally, they've asked us to gather some info on players who are currently experiencing the issue / did experience the issue, so we've created a form to collect that information. Please answer the questions accordingly so we can share that information with Microsoft and get to the bottom of this download issue here.
